Privacy Policy

Navigator Strategy | Effective date October 2, 2026

Who we are and what this policy covers

Navigator Strategy is the business operated by Phil Hering in Seattle, Washington. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information through navigatorstrategy.com, our Contact Phil form, Quick and Comprehensive Second Look assessments, scheduling links, and related inquiry follow-up. Contact us at phil@navigatorstrategy.com or (847) 807-9697 with privacy questions or requests.

Our website helps business owners and leaders explore business concerns and connect with appropriate resources. It is not a portal for employee records, medical care, benefits enrollment, or confidential financial documents. Independent providers have their own privacy notices and agreements for their services.

Information we collect

Information you provide may include your name, business email address, phone number if provided, company, role, industry, general team-size range, selected business interests, and answers about your main concern, timing, business impact, or other assessment questions. We also receive messages you send us and information needed to arrange an appointment.

We keep records of our communications, your communication preferences and consent choices, requested introductions, appointments, and the status of an inquiry. When a specialist is involved with your permission, we may receive limited updates needed to coordinate that inquiry.

Our website and the services it uses may automatically collect technical and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring page, campaign or lead-source information, timestamps, and interactions with forms, links or videos. Cookies and similar technologies may be used as explained below.

Please do not include Social Security numbers, dates of birth, account numbers, payroll reports, employee-level pay or benefits records, medical details, tax returns, or other sensitive records in public forms, assessment answers, ordinary email, or calendar notes. If a later review needs documentation, we or the specialist will explain what is needed and provide an appropriate secure submission method. Only provide information you are authorized to disclose.

How we use information

We use information to respond to your request, understand the business concern you raise, provide requested resources, arrange conversations, and coordinate a suitable next step. We also use it to maintain business records, protect our website, troubleshoot problems, improve content, and evaluate which referral sources and website paths lead to useful conversations.

Our GoHighLevel system stores inquiry and assessment information and supports contact or company records, source tracking, assignment to Phil, confirmations, notifications, follow-up tasks, and opportunity tracking. Automated routing or organization of inquiries supports personal follow-up; an assessment does not determine eligibility for insurance, employment, credit, or a financial product.

Who receives information

Service providers help us host and maintain the website, run forms and our CRM, send communications, manage scheduling, provide interactive content, and measure website use. They receive information needed for those functions. Current tools include GoHighLevel or LeadConnector for forms and CRM, Calendly for scheduling, and iDecide for interactive overviews. Our hosting and technical support providers may handle website logs and operational data.

When you ask us to arrange an introduction or otherwise authorize one, we may share relevant business contact information and a summary of your concern with the specialist or provider involved. We seek your permission before that introduction. That provider is responsible for explaining its own services and data practices. Completing a Second Look does not authorize unrelated companies to market to you.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud, or obtain professional legal or accounting advice. We limit such disclosure to the purpose involved.

We do not sell or rent our contact lists. Mobile numbers and text-message consent records are not sold or shared with other organizations for their own marketing. Service providers that help deliver or support our communications may process that information for us for those purposes.

Cookies and third party tools

Cookies and similar technologies can support site functionality, security, saved preferences, usage measurement, and understanding how visitors reach us. Embedded forms and interactive videos can connect your browser to their providers when they load, even if you do not submit a form. External scheduling and resource sites receive information when you visit or use them. Those providers may collect information over time and across websites under their own privacy notices.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser and use any privacy controls offered by the service involved. Blocking some technologies may affect forms, video playback, or scheduling. Where a particular use requires consent or an opt-out mechanism, the applicable choice must be provided. Our site does not currently change its behavior in response to the older Do Not Track browser signal. This does not override any obligation to honor legally recognized opt-out signals where applicable.

We do not use the content of your form answers for targeted advertising. A link click or a visit to a confirmation page is not, by itself, proof that you submitted an assessment or booked a call.

Follow up and communication choices

When you contact us, we use the details you provide to respond and coordinate your request. You can ask Phil to stop follow-up or change your preferred contact method. If we send marketing email, you can use its unsubscribe link or email phil@navigatorstrategy.com. An inquiry or phone number alone is not permission for automated marketing texts.

Our automated website follow-up currently uses email. We do not currently send automated text messages through these website workflows. If we offer a text-message program in the future, we will first provide the relevant disclosures and obtain the required separate opt-in. Messages will be limited to the purposes described at opt-in. Consent will be optional and not a condition of purchase. You will be able to reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. The Website Terms describe the conditions for any future program.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, manage business relationships, maintain consent and opt-out records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. The appropriate period depends on the information, the purpose, and applicable requirements. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or deidentified, subject to necessary backup and legal retention processes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee complete security. A request for deletion may not remove information an independent provider holds under its own obligations; we can help identify the relevant provider.

Your requests and privacy rights

You can email phil@navigatorstrategy.com to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, request deletion, withdraw consent, or change communication preferences. Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have additional rights, including a portable copy of data or an opt-out of certain processing. We evaluate requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. Do not email identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate method.

We will explain if a request cannot be fulfilled or if an exception applies. Where applicable law provides an appeal, reply to our decision or email us with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject. Exercising an applicable privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination.

Location and children

Navigator Strategy is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. The website is intended for adults acting in a business capacity and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our practices or requirements change. We will post the updated version and date on this page and provide additional notice or seek consent when required. For questions, requests, or an accessible copy, contact Phil Hering, Navigator Strategy, at phil@navigatorstrategy.com or (847) 807-9697.
